This cable was not designed for digital signals. We use it as a AES/EBU cable ourselves and have made excellent experiences with it. For this reason we also offer the VOVOX® sonorus muco with pin assignments, as is usual with digital multicores. Our suggestion for uncompromising sound optimisers. Made in Switzerland.

Design

  • solid core conductors for signal and ground
  • conductors made of the purest available copper
  • natural fibers netting around every single conductor wire

Connectors

VOVOX® sonorus muco cables are available in various combinations of DB25, XLR female and XLR male.

DB25 connectors:

  • high-quality DB25 connectors with gold plated contacts
  • pin assignment according Tascam
  • on request: other pin assignments (Yamaha, others)
  • locking screws UNC 4-40

XLR connectors:

  • original Neutrik XLR plugs with gold plated contacts
  • standard length of snake: 30 cm
  • on request: other length of snake

Important

This cable is not shielded, which allows for even better sound quality. There is a certain risk of interference. In the studio, this risk is calculable and very small. For long lengths or critical applications, the cables are also available in a shielded version.
